As 2020 dies, so must your ability to stream The Office on Netflix. It's a sacrifice we must all make as a country if we want this cursed year to end. Luckily, contrary to popular belief, there is an almost endless supply of streaming services that not named Netflix, and one of them is going to let you stream The Office in 2021.

Netflix announced in June of 2019 that The Office would be leaving the site in the U.S. as soon as the clock strikes midnight on Dec. 31. And while fans have had a year and a half to prepare for this inevitable loss, it still hurts. As 2020 comes to a close, Twitter has become a virtual Office memorial, with fans posting their heartfelt goodbyes to their favorite paper company.

But just because The Office won't be on Netflix anymore does not mean it's disappearing for good. As of Jan. 1, 2021, The Office will be available to stream on Peacock, NBC's streaming service. But, there's a catch: having the Dunder Mifflin crew at your fingertips will cost you an extra subscription fee. And, if you're already paying for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, or any other streaming service, that can get pretty pricey. The good news? The first two seasons of The Office will be available to stream for free, so you can still watch all that Jim and Pam angst whenever you want.
