The Spa Date On 'The Bachelor' Was Really Just Schrute Farms Bed & Breakfast, But Worse

If you look close enough, you may see a shadowed figure lurking in the back of Matt and Michelle's Pennsylvania Dutch spa date on The Bachelor. No, it's not Charles E. Cheese, the mascot for Chuck E. Cheese, Matt's favorite place to celebrate. It's Mose Schrute, bellboy and activities director of Schrute Farms Bed & Breakfast (And Weapons & Self Defense). And while the date didn't actually feature Dwight's cousin, The Bachelor spa date was basically The Office's Schrute Farms if the Schrute family was in the business of wasting perfectly good sticks of butter.

When Michelle and Matt walked into their "authentic Pennsylvania Dutch spa" date — the first of the Fantasy Dates — you may have mistaken it for a scene from Saw. There was a bear. There was a pot of oatmeal (which Matt stuck his finger in and then SMELLED IT). There was a free-standing bath full of room temp milk (which Matt also stuck his finger in and then SMELLED IT). And then there were cubes! of! butter!

But there was no mystery person asking if you wanna play a game. (Quite frankly, that may have been more appealing.) Instead, this was the alluring date leading up to Michelle and Matt's night of private romance. In lukewarm milk! I can't be the only one concerned about the health and sanitary factors of that, right?
