A Closer Look At Hunter's Tattoos On 'The Bachelorette'

It wouldn't be a new season of The Bachelorette without me aggressively zooming in on contestants' photos on Instagram trying to decipher the ink on their arms, abdomen, back, etc. And this season is no different. The contestant and art in question? Hunter and his tattoos that seem to take up a lot of real estate on his right arm and chest. The tattoos in question? Well, let's dive into that.

After a semi-embarrassing amount of Internet Research (don't call it stalking), I was able to figure out what a few of Hunter's pieces were thanks to a little thing I like to call... Instagram.

Some quick takeaways for the tattoo x Bachelorette crossover enthusiasts out there:

  • Hunter's sleeve seems to have been done within the last year or so
  • His chest tattoo seems to have been done first, as it is visible peeking out of his polo here
  • I'm going to detail this man's body art in the least creepy way possible, but I can't make any promises it won't get a 'lil weird

Speaking of Hunter's bare chest (told ya it would get a 'lil weird!), let's start there and look into the importance of his chest tattoo.

While I can't make out the entire chest piece, you can see that he has the same details on his chest as you would find on a recovery chip. "Unity, Recovery, Service" are three words found on a AA medallion, which Hunter shared on an Instagram post from early July, where he celebrated 14 years of sobriety.

As for his arms, I've spotted a Slim Shady LP nod towards the shoulder. The CD (remember those?) for the SSLP album had a Vicodin pill on it, which you'll see towards the top of Hunter's arm in this picture below. (It says "VIC.")
