It's a day that ends in "y," which can only mean one thing: someone's going to die in Riverdale. At least, that's what it looks like based on KJ Apa's new BTS photo from the Riverdale Season 5 set.

The picture, which Apa inexplicably posted on Monday, May 3, to wish Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson a happy birthday, features the actor and his co-star Charles Melton, seemingly in full Riverdale mode. Both have their hair slicked back and are wearing black suits. This wardrobe choice isn't surprising coming from Melton, aka Reggie. Post-time jump, Reggie's been working as Hiram Lodge's right hand man, and that means dressing sharp, so he's been wearing suits all season long. It, however, an anomaly for Archie, who is currently working as a teacher/RROTC leader/high school football coach/contractor/fire fighter/occasional sheriff's deputy. So, the suits can only mean one of two things: either these frenemies are heading to another Riverdale funeral, or Archie has decided to rejoin Hiram's mafia.

If I've learned anything from the past five years, it's that anything is possible on Riverdale, but Archie joining Team Hiram in Season 5 seems extremely unlikely. Sure, he was briefly reunited with Veronica, but, given that she was blackmailed into dumping him, I'm thinking his love for the town of Riverdale currently outweighs any lingering feelings for his high school sweetheart. And, if he's not working for Hiram, then he's definitely going to burry someone.
