Drew Sidora On Her Current Status With Husband Ralph Pittman & What It Was Like Watching Her Marriage On TV

Drew Sidora isn't new to TV, but she is new to reality TV and, in her first season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she quickly learned that Andy Cohen wasn't joking when he told The New York Times, “As much as you might try to tell a story of X, Y or Z, real life will come barging through the doors.”

Heading into filming, Drew had a very specific idea of the story she was trying to tell. "Initially, we were like, we can come on here and show the world what Black love looks like, show people how much we love each other, we're fun ..." Drew tells The Dipp, as she trails off, laughs and continues, "that was the expectation. When we actually started to film, it just got a little more real than I guess I thought."

What she means is this: Shortly before filming began, Drew's husband, Ralph Pittman, disappeared.

"My husband reacted in a way from an argument we had, and I didn't know where he was." Ralph had taken off, and in a sort of sick reality TV twist, Drew learned of her husband's whereabouts from RHOA's producers.

"Producers were calling to make sure we were going to come to our Covid tests, and I was trying to call Ralph to find out if he was going to be around and he wasn't answering." Drew finally admitted that she was unable to get in touch with her husband, and suggested production try to reach him, which did the trick.
