Can Sonja Morgan Save New York?

It's no secret that Real Housewives of New York is suffering. From the cast being too small to the filming happening during a contentious election and a pandemic... not much is working in its favor. Except for Sonja Morgan, who may be able to save New York, Captain America-style.

Sonja Morgan has her flaws — she often becomes incoherent when she drinks, she makes poor business decisions, she cares way too much about the Morgan Letters... wait, I think I'm just listing off the reasons I love Sonja. In Tuesday's episode of RHONY, Sonja put on a ballgown and got caught with her hand in the caviar jar, and it was just what the season needed. The women weren't attacking each other, they weren't arguing, they weren't storming off (to the room next door, because they can't go anywhere during COVID)... they were laughing. A lot. At Sonja, who kept calling a man she may or may not have been intimate with "a great lover."

Is this the reprieve the show needed? Is Sonja doing everyone a favor and bringing the drama, the comedy, and the mystery to a season that desperately needs it? Check out today's episode of Pop Chaser to hear my thoughts on the episode and, more specifically, Sonja and Dylan.

Plus, I discuss Bachelor Nation's response to Katie and Greg's fallout, the new Cinderella trailer, Lizzo's upcoming music, and two very important birthdays! HBD, Martha!
