Lindsay Lohan's New Netflix Rom-Com Sounds Totally Unhinged & Perfect

Throw out your Parent Trap VHS and your Freaky Friday DVD, because Lindsay Lohan is officially back. JK, don't get rid of those, we need them to educate future generations. Just get ready to watch them a lot less. Lindsay Lohan is starring in a Netflix rom-com — her first major romantic comedy since 2006's Just My Luck (she later starred in 2009's Labor Pains, but that movie barely came out), and her most high profile acting gig since 2013's The Canyons.

The holiday movie — no title yet, just vibes — will star Lohan as a "newly engaged and spoiled hotel heiress" who gets amnesia in a skiing accident and ends up being taken care of by "a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner and his precocious daughter." It's Overboard, but with less kids and in an entirely different climate. (And hopefully with way less gaslighting and indentured servitude.)

So far, there's no word on who will play this "handsome" savior love interest — or the fiancé who definitely sucks and is about to lose the girl. I'm not even sure if the movie has even started filming yet; the photo included in the announcement tweet appears to be a selfie Lohan posted on Instagram a few weeks ago. As we wait for more news, however, I have some casting ideas.

Given this movie will be a holiday rom-com, per Variety, who better to cast than an actor form another Netflix holiday rom-com? Nick Sagar played Kevin in both Princess Switch movies, and, as many fans noticed last holiday season, he is very, very attractive.
