'I Know What You Did Last Summer' Ep. 6 Recap: Like Mother, Like Daughter

I Know What You Did Last Summer leant a hand in solving the mystery of the bloody machete in this week's episode.

This week begins 12 hours before the final moments of last week's episode with Riley on the run from Clara and her dogs. Immediately, I'm unnerved. We saw Margot and Allennon in bed together at the end of last week's episode, so it's looking like Riley is our next victim. Why flash back 12 hours just to watch her escape successfully?

Well, shut me up because Riley does escape successfully. On the main road outside Clara's property, she texts the "OG Crew" group chat (Dylan, Margot, Lennon and Allison) that she's made it out safely. A car heads towards her, and she flags it down for help. But hitting people with cars is the name of the game in this show, and this time is no different.

The car (a black truck, I should specify) speeds towards her and crashes into her before she limps back in to Clara's yard to hide. While in the shadows, the machete featured in last week's episode goes through Riley's chest from behind. She collapses and reaches out for a branch to fight back with when the machete swings down and slices her arm off. I should really give myself more credit. I knew it wasn't looking good for Riley! (I'm not happy about this, to clarify; I'm just proud of myself.)
