Chris Evans doesn't tweet much, but when he does it's to tells us important information, like how much of a Jim and Pam shipper he is. It was a regular, calm, Saturday afternoon when Chris Evans fully chose violence and tweeted his love for The Office, citing one particular Jim and Pam moment that makes him feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
"When Jim and Pam are having an off day but at the end of the episode they're both leaving each other messages talking about the same things. Good stuff," the former Captain America tweeted at 12:33 p.m. E.T. on Oct. 23. Naturally, as a Chris Evans stan with an over-active imagination and a history of writing fan fiction, my first thought was: my chances of marrying Chris Evans just went up significantly. He likes The Office, I like The Office — Tinder swipes have been motivated by much less.
My main issue with this otherwise perfect tweet is that he failed to provide the episode number so that fans could watch along with him. Luckily, people in the comments were more than happy to right that wrong. The episode in question appears to be Season 5, Episode 4, "Baby Shower," which you can stream here if you have Peacock. Which got me thinking... do we think that Chris Evans has:
- a) Purchased The Office DVD/Blu-Ray box set years ago and physically selected this specific episode disk.
- b) Is a Peacock subscriber and pays extra to skip the ads.
- c) Bought the series on Apple TV, which he probably has for free thanks to his Defending Jacob contract.
