13 ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ Moments That Brought Me Inner Peace On A Monday Night

Sometimes I go full Garfield and hate Mondays — but yesterday’s new Below Deck Sailing Yacht was a gift. With an episode packed full of both laughs and drama, I had absolutely no complaints about the Bravo show. In fact, there were more than a few moments that had me either laughing out loud or just straight up delighted by what was on my screen, so of course I had to share them with all of you. Here are the 13 moments from the reality show that refreshed my spirit and quelled all of my inner turmoil.

The moment that Gary and Daisy bonded over dinner service

The two department leads have notoriously butted heads over the course of the season, but it was actually seriously nice to see them come together this episode — especially when they bonded over Jean-Luc continuing to slack off. When the First Mate radioed his crew member to bring them some bottles of water, JL insisted on finishing his dinner first… so Gary hustled down the stairs, flip-flopped over to the boat, rounded up some refreshments, and then ran them back. “I told you I’d be quicker than him,” he snarked to Daisy as she laughed along.

The moment Gary looked directly into the camera like Jim from The Office

As it turns out, the guests also picked up on Gary and Daisy’s playful vibe, but they, uh, interpreted it a little differently than I did. One of them jumped to the conclusion that the two crew members must be dating, and when Gary overheard that, he couldn’t help but turn directly to the camera to wordlessly comment on just how ridiculous a concept that was.
